General Information
This free workshop will help you feel confident in your abilities to defend yourself. Please wear comfortable clothing and close toed shoes. Donations are always accepted and appreciated.
Types of Workshops
SAHC is now offering public self-defense classes quarterly and is open to facilitating classes for private groups. If you are interested in holding a private group, please email Ashley at Ashley@sexualassaulthelpcenter.com or call 304-234-1783 ext. 111.
Meet the Instructor
Celise (CC) Roxby
CC Roxby is a Social Service Facilitator. She has worked in social services for twenty years and has served on several community boards including: Health and Wellness, Collaborative, Safe At Home, and Partners in Prevention. Some pertinent certifications include: conflict resolution, TAPS, CPI, LSI, PBS, and child abuse and neglect. CC is also trained and certified as a self defense instructor through the society of the arts. She competed in boxing and MMA matches, as well as 5k and 10k races. She volunteers her time and services to women and children in the community to empower them through knowledge and skills gained learning self-defense. CC also volunteers at her local church.
