24/7 Crisis Hotline Volunteer Opportunities

Are you interested in helping your community? Want to dedicate some time to helping survivors of sexual violence? Have a phone and a quiet place to talk? This may be the right fit for you! 

Attend our upcoming volunteer training!

Wednesday, October 5, 2022
10am - 3pm
Ohio County Public Library Auditorium

Lunch and supplies provided

What's required:

​

  • Age 18+

  • A desire to help other and serve your community

  • Must complete 8 hour training once a year

  • Complete an online training prior to attending the in person training

  • Available for on-call 4 hour shift, at least twice a month via telephone

  • Reliable, dependable, and consistent

  • Willing to submit to a background check/references

  • No experience needed

  • Be a good listener and have compassion for victims
